Went out again yesterday, another lackluster day but with a good many fish caught, Started out at the east end of Deer Island near the rock jetty,  Caught croakers non stop (final count 30 caught and released) for about an hour before moving to Katrina reef to hopefully get some better fish,  very little action there 2 medium white trout in an hour,   Moved to keesler reef and watched another boat in the fish while I managed to spend alot of time retying lines after loosing hooks on the bottom,  no fish to speak of,  Last but not least we ran west and dropped at the end of St Charles Ave where we saw non stop action with ground mullet, eels and other small stuff,   End count in live well was 5 ground mullet and 2 nice white trout.... enough for a meal for a friend who is no longer able to go fishing himself...  game plan for next outing is Start early at St Charles and move west from there....  Also planning a river trip as soon as weather permits...
