I'm just posting to ask if anyone has had any luck so far with hooking some specs.
I've seem to catch everything else but no trout yet.

The trout are there Jerry,  While I have not been able to fish the last few weeks my neighbor brought home his limit in Specs twice in the last 2 weeks, every fish in the 3 to 4 lb range.   As soon as the weather looks ok we need to plan a trip..

did your nieghbor mention where he caught the specks? Have you fished the shell keys at deer island near the point, or the new Katrina reef on the south side?

Neighbor was fishing southwest of Cat Island in the marsh when he caught his last mess,  But has also got 1/2 dozen wading south of St Charles Ave in Biloxi using small live croakers as bait in the last 2 weeks..
